Children’s Center for Therapy
becomes part of ChildServe

ChildServe now reaches children in eastern Iowa.

ChildServe, a nonprofit pediatric specialty healthcare organization with centers in Ames, Des Moines and Johnston, is expanding to eastern Iowa.

The new ChildServe – Iowa City and ChildServe – North Liberty locations were previously part of Children’s Center for Therapy which offered pediatric therapy and family support services to children with developmental delays and disabilities.

“ChildServe’s mission is to partner with families to help children with special healthcare needs live a great life,” said Lloyd VanderKwaak, ChildServe President and CEO. “In recent years, providers and families have asked us to expand our reach by bringing ChildServe programs and services to eastern Iowa.”

In addition to pediatric physical, speech and occupational therapies, ChildServe will provide respite, supported community living and behavioral health services in eastern Iowa.
