ChildServe superheroes, each an expert in their own field, join together to form an unstoppable multi-disciplinary team. By combining their strengths and drawing off of each other’s areas of expertise, this team can deliver a power packed punch straight to the heart of anything or anyone foolish enough to stand in the way of what’s best for the children we serve.

Therapy:
ChildServe Therapy heroes have access to the most unique multidisciplinary setting available. Rather than working within the triadic discipline structure of OT, PT, and SLP, ChildServe therapists also work closely with Audiologists, Therapeutic Recreation professionals, Child Life Specialists, Orthodics professionals, Aquatic Therapy team members, and DME specialists…all on staff!

These superhero clinicians also provide specialty clinics in the areas of Augmentative Communication and Spasticity Management.  Coming soon, we will provide clinics in Cochlear Implants, Seating and Mobility, and Orthodics. Additional specialty areas include Sensory Integrative Treatments, Serial Castings, Animal Assisted Therapy and Agility, Hippotherapy, and  Therapeutic Listening…to name only a few.

Skilled Nursing Services:
Unique in the state of Iowa, our inpatient skilled nursing services focuses on the well-being of the whole child.  Because of our unique set-up, our nursing superheroes can provide specialized attention to children and their families through unique activities such as taking children who use tracheotomies swimming in our state-of-the-art therapeutic pool, animal assisted therapy and agility sessions, individualized augmentative communication assessments, birthday parties, and other personalized services to help in the pursuit of the child’s great life.

Community Services:
Soccer, Girl/Boy Scouts, Art lessons, dance lessons, and baseball are just a small sampling of the activities our licensed and non-licensed superheroes get to do with children receiving community services supports.  Not only do we expect community involvement, but we expect to give back to the community by volunteering with our children for organizations such as the Salvation Army.  Working with our children receiving community services you will see that we are not just a part of the community…we are the community!

Family Service:
Our mission says it all; We partner with families to help children with special health care needs live a great life.  Whether you want to unleash your powers as an integrated childcare provider, case manager, social worker, or respite provider, ChildServe recognizes the family as a critical element in providing services to their child.  These service area superheroes are the first line in the unique partnership ChildServe creates with the families we support.
