HomecareServices, which include skilled nursing, home health, social work and therapies, are provided by licensed, certified nurses and therapists in the child's home. ChildServe is a certified home health provider specializing in pediatric skilled nursing care and therapy.

TherapyServices include skilled pediatric therapy in the areas of occupational, physical, speech and audiology, and are offered in individual and group settings. ChildServe is certified as an outpatient rehabilitation provider.

Adaptive EquipmentChildServe is a certified Durable Medical Equipment (DME) provider specializing in pediatric seating and mobility fitting, wheelchairs and adaptive devices, augmentative communication devices, and medical supplies.

RespiteServices enable families to take a break from the day-to-day demands of caring for a child with special health care needs. Services include: one-to-one, specialized, and group respite care in one of two Respite Centers located in the ChildServe Centers in Johnston and Ames.

Supported Community LivingServices include community-based activities for daily living skill development on a one-to-one basis. Services are aligned with each child's growth and development goals, and designed to assist in development and
maintenance of socialization, communication and personal management skills.

Case ManagementChildServe and Polk County Health Services cooperate to provide targeted case management and care coordination services to children and families enrolled in Medicaid's mental retardation (MR) and brain injury (BI) waiver programs.

ChildcareIntegrated childcare service offers a unique childcare option for children of all abilities at centers in Ames and Des Moines. Each Childcare Center is licensed to serve more than 100 children, and uses the Creative Curriculum that focuses on individual strengths of each child and fosters an environment of inclusion.
