Message from the CEO

Welcome to the ChildServe web site!

We are excited to offer this site as a resource on receiving our services, as well as employment, volunteer and donation opportunities.

For more than 80 years, our organization has dedicated itself to the care and support of children with special health care needs and their families here in central Iowa. Through the years we have added services to meet changing needs in the community. We have grown from a home that cared for a small number of children convalescing from childhood illnesses, to an organization that provides ten residential and community services to more than 2,000 children with special health care needs and their families each year.

Whether a child lives with us here at ChildServe, or lives at home with their family, we come alongside each family, providing care, service and support they need. ChildServe is continually striving for new and better ways to serve families. We're committed to improving families' access to our services and improving communication with families - as we work toward our common goal of making their child's life great.

We invite you to become a part of ChildServe. As a child/family that receives our services, or as an employee, volunteer, or donor, we hope that you find your association with ChildServe to be positive and rewarding. We look forward to having you be involved in our work - partnering with families to help children with special health care needs live a great life.
