CH.A.M.P.S. Swimming

CHAMPS will offer scheduled opportunities to learn or enhance skills specifc to swimming. Each
open time allows an individual interested in swimming to work in a non-intimidating environment
with hands-on instruction from the Dowling High School Girls' and Boys' Swim Team.

Sessions will be held on Mondays at the ChildServe Aquatic Center beginning on July 11th and ending on August 1st. There is no cost to participate. ChildServe will not be providing

transportation. There will be an Awards Ceremony Dinner to be held at ChildServe Center (5406 Merle
Hay Road) in Johnston, to recognize participants for their hard work and accomplishments.

Swimming Adaptations
Reduced pool dimensions • Use of floaties, kickboards, and/or life vests • Controlled practices and scrimmages
