The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) and the Centers for
Disease Control (CDC) have confirmed that there is at least one case of
H1N1 (swine) flu in Iowa.
At this time, we are not curtailing the activities of children in
our care, and community and outpatient services will continue as
scheduled. However, we are informing visitors to our facilities of the
symptoms of H1N1 flu and asking that those who show any symptoms please
return when they are feeling better. We will also be limiting access to
certain areas of our buildings for nonessential visitors or staff.
Again, the situation could change rapidly based on new information, so
please be sure to monitor our Web site for the most current details.
