Dahl Grant Enables ChildServe Continuing Care Unit Renovations
Monday, 16 February 2009 11:33
Testing...Over the next few months, the Continuing Care Unit (CCU) at ChildServe will be receiving some very important renovations to ensure safety as well as provide enhanced care for medically fragile children. Thanks to a grant from the W.T. and Edna M. Dahl Trust, patient rooms in the CCU will be retro-fitted with in-room medical gases and suction, and the bathing room will receive a complete renovation. Paul Tyler and Jerry Jones, trustees for the W.T. and Edna M. Dahl Trust, attended a dedication for the Continuing Care Unit on February 12, 2009. “The Dahls were very generous and their trust has provided funds that enable many non-profit organizations in the Des Moines area to fulfill their missions,” explained Tyler. Jones added, “I’m sure that W.T. and Edna would have been proud to support the ChildServe Continuing Care Unit and all of the work and care that goes into helping children with special health care needs live great lives.”
