Medical Social Work

The medical social workers at ChildServe strive to assist patients and their families as they navigate the vast array of resources available.

Social workers can be a liaison between families and the treating professionals. We can help families with many issues, including admission, planning for discharge, connecting to agencies that help children and families with special needs, coordinating transportation to and from ChildServe, and advocating for insurance coverage. As members of the multidisciplinary health care team, medical social workers are trained, licensed professionals who provide a range of services to enhance the quality of care for children and their families, both at ChildServe and in the community.
