Are you comfortable speaking up for your child with special needs? When it comes to advocating for their kids, many parents wish they had more experience. Roxanne Cogil, Executive Director of the Epilepsy Foundation of Iowa will present on tips and useful resources to help parents with advocacy across various settings. This class will cover topics like advocating at IEP meetings at school, being an effective voice for your child in medical settings, sharing your child’s journey with local legislators, and more.
