At ChildServe’s Bubble Ball 2022, sponsors, designers and performers orbited the galaxy together for the record-breaking, “Out of this World” event. Attendees enjoyed the evening filled with wearable and stationary bubble wrap designs, live music, delicious food and a cosmic runway show.

Over 70 local designers brought Bubble Ball guests to infinity and beyond with their outer space-inspired bubble wrap creations. From the sun and the moon to trampoline acts and singers, the event was packed with luminous talent and stellar Bubble Wrap costumes.

Thanks to the generosity of our amazing sponsors and donors, Bubble Ball 2022 raised $740,000 to help children with special healthcare needs live a great life! The money raised will help us expand and enhance services and purchase state-of-the-art equipment for children and young adults with special healthcare needs across ChildServe. Specifically, this year’s Bubble Ball funds will enable the purchase of the Bioness Vector SystemA specialized rehabilitation tool that helps children and young adults learn to walk again. The Bioness Vector utilizes a ceiling-mounted robotic rail system with 52 feet of track. A child or young adult is connected to the system, using a harness to support their weight as the individual relearns activities during therapy. The system also detects and prevents falls before they happen, keeping kids safe and increasing their confidence., for our new rehab unit – Jojo’s Pediatric Rehabilitation Unit – to help children and young adults like Braelyn recover from traumatic injuries, surgeries and illnesses.
