Lucy’s Story

Lucy Rosenberg has known she’s wanted to work with kids who have autism since she was in 5th grade.

“I did a presentation on the topic for a speech club, and I also have a sibling with an autism diagnosis,” said Lucy. “My brother has inspired me from a young age to be a part of this community!”

In 2020, Lucy began a career on ChildServe’s Applied Behavioral Analysis, where she took every opportunity to continue growing and learning.

“I started out as a Behavior Technician, and I became a certified Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within the first few months of hire. During that time, I grew my clinical skills working alongside other RBTs and getting direct supervision from BCBAs.”

After 2 years at ChildServe, Lucy applied for the lead RBT position and was promoted to Team Lead. From working with children with autism or connecting with her team, Lucy values the emphasis on relationships at ChildServe.

“The partnership and collaboration of ChildServe‘s employees is different than any other organization I’ve been a part of. Every day I am blown away by the support my team provides for each other.

“Great life moments for me come in many shapes and sizes. The best part of my job are the small moments of joy I share with the children we serve. It makes my day when I play a part in their happiness.”
