ChildServe Named #1 Most Influential Nonprofit
ChildServe was recently named the #1 Most Influential Nonprofit in Des Moines on the list of Top 25 Most Influential Nonprofits in the Business Record’s 2024 Book of Lists. The award marks the eighth consecutive year ChildServe earned recognition from the Business Record for its influence as a nonprofit in Greater Des Moines.
Placement on the Most Influential Nonprofit list is based on an online survey of Business Record readers. Earning a spot on the list provides multiple reasons to celebrate the teams and individuals fueling ChildServe’s impact on our community.
“It is a distinct honor for ChildServe to be named #1 Most Influential Nonprofit in the Business Record’s 2024 Book of Lists for the first time in our organization’s history,” said Teri Wahlig, M.D., ChildServe CEO. “This recognition would not be possible without the tremendous work and dedication of our team members, board members, generous donors, volunteers and community partners who remain steadfast with us on our journey to transform lives through specialty pediatric healthcare. This acknowledgment comes at a pivotal time for ChildServe, as we have experienced significant regional growth over the past several years to serve more children with special healthcare needs across the state. To know we are making a difference in the lives of Iowa children and families motivates us to continue to do more, do it better and do it together.”
ChildServe improves the health and well-being of nearly 5,800 children each year through specialized clinical, home, and community-based programs and services. We serve children with developmental delays, disabilities, injuries, and other special healthcare needs.
