Nursing at ChildServe
ChildServe‘s nursing team exists at the crossroads of clinical expertise and compassionate care.
We believe that exceptional care begins by creating a workplace environment and culture of safety where nurses feel uplifted and encouraged by their team and leaders. If you’re passionate about helping children with special healthcare needs live a great life, and want to join a nursing program unlike any other, we invite you to join us! We hire RNs, LPNs and CNAs in a wide range of positions and services, including the services below.
In our Inpatient Complex Medical Care program, ChildServe provides 24-hour skilled nursing care in a family-focused environment. We care for children, teens, and young adults who are unable to live at home due to their complex medical needs.
Our Pediatric Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit offers state of the art equipment and technology. Our intensive medical and nursing services support individuals with a variety of conditions. Along with expert medical care, we provide onsite therapy and medical equipment support to help each child and young adult live a full life.
ChildServe Homecare enables children and young adults (birth – 21 years) with complex medical needs to live at home with their families.
ChildServe’s Homes offer a comfortable, nurturing environment for children and young adults who need round-the-clock supervision or medical care. Check out this Day-in-the-Life post to get the inside scoop on this service.
ChildServe‘s Medical Childcare program offers specialized weekday care for children and young adults with significant medical needs and developmental delays. The program includes on-site therapy services like physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
Specialized Respite offers one-on-one time with a licensed nurse in the family’s home. We provide this service in the communities surrounding our Ames, Iowa City and Johnston locations.
