Enriching Social-Emotional Relationships through Psychosexual Education
Description
Children and young adults on the Autism Spectrum are frequently making social faux pas. As they get older they are capable of making sexual social faux which appear more treacherous. However, they do not lack desire to have sexual experiences. We can help them prepare for healthy intimate relationships. This course will look at the emotional, social and problem-solving components necessary for preventing problem sexual behavior.
Suzanne Richards, Ph.D., Leslie Rogers, M.S., CCC-SLP and Emily Monahan OTR/L, all of ChildServe, will present.
