Vincent’s Story

When Vincent began attending Autism Day Health a year and a half ago, he was a totally different child. His parents Grant and Jennifer watched Vincent’s life change for the better once he started receiving support from the experts at ChildServe.  

As the only program of its kind in Iowa, Autism Day Health combines early intervention; physical, occupational, and speech therapy; and medical supervision throughout the week for children aged 2-5 who have been diagnosed with autism.

“Even the basic walk into the building was an effort for Vincent when he first started,” said Grant. “Since he started Day Health, Vincent is now running up and down stairs and in the gym. Vincent can now do what every kid loves to do: run and play with his friends.”

“Before ChildServe, Vincent could not talk or show us what he wanted,” said Grant. “Now he can say 3-5 words at a time or more. Words can’t describe how it makes me feel when he says ‘I love you dad, and I love you mom!’”
