Hannah Jepson Slaughter, BSN, MSN, ARNP, PC-PNP, serves as Pediatric Medicine and Rehabilitation Nurse Practitioner at ChildServe.
Hannah graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from The University of Iowa and went on to earn her Masters of Science in Nursing from Rush University. She has specialized in neonatal and pediatrics her whole career.
At the start of her career, Hannah worked as a NICU/PICU nurse for eight years, including some time as a traveling nurse and a transport nurse. Hannah has been practicing as a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for eight years. Hannah has worked at ChildServe since 2014, serving in the Outpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine Clinics, with an emphasis in the developmental, concussion and home enteral feeding clinics.
In collaboration with Dr. Fred Klingbeil, Hannah also performs rehabilitation consults for children with acute or chronic trauma, injuries and functional impairments.
Hannah serves on the Iowa chapter of the Professional Association for Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) She was named the Continuing Education chair by the Iowa Association of Nurse Practitioner board.
