Jordyn’s Story

Five years ago, Brandi Wright and Mike Williams moved their daughter Jordyn into ChildServe’s Long-Term Care program so she could receive expert care for her complex medical needs. Since then, they’ve discovered the many ways ChildServe weaves skilled nursing care with fun, friends, and great life moments. 

“ChildServe’s team members provide a level of care that’s different than any other skilled care facility,” says Brandi. “They care for and worry about Jordyn just like I do. She has very little vision, but she knows all their voices and smiles when they come in the room. There is no other place that could give Jordyn the life she has had.”

ChildServe’s focus on activities and programming ensures that Jordyn gets to be around other young people, which brings out her social personality.

“When we came to ChildServe, Jordyn blossomed. She has friends, swims in the pool, attends group music therapy, and experiences social interactions that wouldn’t be possible at many care providers. The little things make a huge difference.”
