ChildServe Receives Meaningfulness Award at 2023 Iowa Top Workplaces Celebration
ChildServe is pleased to announce that we have once again been recognized as a Top Workplace for 2023. ChildServe earned the top spot for the “Meaningfulness” award across all participating organizations in the Des Moines Register’s 2023 Iowa Top Workplaces survey. This recognition was based on responses to the question: My job makes me feel like I am part of something meaningful.
Additionally, for the 10th year in a row, ChildServe was named among the top 20 Top Workplaces by the Des Moines Register, earning the #15 spot in the Large Company category for 2023. The Top Workplace award is based on feedback from employees about their engagement at work. The program recognizes outstanding employers on the regional and national level.

According to the survey, which is administered by Energage, team members say they:
- value organizational health
- identify with the company’s vision
- enjoy being challenged by a high-performance culture, and
- feel that they are valued and that their voices are heard.
When I was first looking for a job, I was seeking a place that would provide me with experience working directly with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. What I did not know before coming to ChildServe is how special of a place this is to work, and how much I would fall in love with this clinic and the people I work with every day. I have never worked somewhere quite like ChildServe.
At ChildServe, everyone knows the mission, and it’s the number one priority. As team members, we live that mission every day to ensure those we serve live a great life. I love it when people ask me what I do, so I can proudly say that I work for ChildServe.
What makes working at ChildServe unique is the mere fact that I get the opportunity to work with children with special needs. I love knowing that I am part of a community that makes a difference in their lives, no matter how small or big it is.
