ChildServe at Woodland hosted its first field day ever and it was a big success! On Friday, May 20, team members, families, volunteers, kids and teens turned out for an afternoon of fun. The event was packed with activities including ambulance tours, an ice cream truck and ponies. Get a glimpse of the fun by clicking through the galleries below!

Ambulance Tours

Children and families had the opportunity to see an ambulance up close and personal. The kids loved getting to see the inside of the ambulance, with some even excitedly volunteering to be lifted in!

Bubbles

A giant bubble maker and a bubble blaster made for an afternoon bursting with fun!

Face Painting & Temporary Tattoos

Field Day goers selected their favorite designs to be painted or temporarily tattooed on them by some amazing volunteers!

Playground Fun

The weather was just right for an afternoon of fun on the playground!

Ice Cream Truck

We scream for ice cream (and sorbet)! The Outside Scoop ice cream truck joined the excitement, serving up a variety of kid-friendly and allergy-friendly ice cream and sorbet flavors!

Balloon Animals

An incredible volunteer balloon artist created a variety of four-legged balloon friends for children to take home!

Ponies

Speaking of four-legged friends, two ponies named Cinnamon and Squishy from the Jester Park Equestrian Center joined the festivities with some impressive hairdos. Field Day goers got the opportunity to spend time with the ponies and give them some pets!

The smile, fun and connection-filled event was a huge hit and was a great start to a new annual tradition!
