Children and young adults on the Autism Spectrum are frequently making social faux pas. As they get older they are capable of making sexual social faux which appear more treacherous.
The fascial system is a continuous layer of tissue throughout the body that when atypical movement/posture alter the natural alignment of the skeleton, the fascia adapts by contracting and bonding. In this 3-day workshop, we will review the fascial system as it relates to those with atypical posture/movement focusing on hands-on evaluation and treatment of fascial system to facilitate movement. We will focus on basic myofascial releases as they apply to soft tissue elongation and NDT facilitation.
