To help Emery connect with the world around her and build skills to live a great life, her family enrolled her in ChildServe’s Autism Day Program. After just six months, Emery’s communication began to blossom.
Since beginning ChildServe’s Autism program, Hobie has made big strides in his communication skills, his ability to focus without frustration and his willingness to eat different foods – all areas that were major hurdles for him just a few years ago.
Not every nine-year-old will pick “steak dinner” as their special birthday meal, but anyone who’s met Brian knows to expect the unexpected from this bright, technology-loving boy. Brian, who has cerebral palsy, came to ChildServe’s pediatric rehabilitation unit after having a back surgery called SDR.
Ruby was born early at 25 weeks, weighing just 1 pound, 6 ounces. Despite the health complications she experienced, Ruby quickly proved that though she is small, she is mighty.
Olivia was born at 28 weeks and has 13 diagnoses. Thanks to ChildServe’s inpatient rehabilitation and homecare programs, she’s thriving.
Over the last few years, ChildServe’s Orthotics program has made a significant impact for Tezirian in meeting his goals and giving his family hope and confidence that he can live a life filled with activities he loves.
